Hi everyone!! So, hubby and I were driving the other day when we heard a radio commercial for ready.illinois.gov encouraging people to have their own personal preparedness plan in place. That's right, the state of Illinois is so convinced that you need to prepare that they asked Marion Ross, aka Mrs. Cunningham, to be in their preparedness commercial. Folks, the state of Illinois knows that they can't help all of us if an emergency happens and they want you to be prepared to help yourself. I think that's pretty groovy!! "Ehhhhhhhhhh!" (Okay, that was supposed to be Fonzie's trademark call! I couldn't find it in the dictionary!!)
Prep On!

Interesting! With all the unique movies coming out of Hollywood and all the cable shows on preparedness, 2012, survival/wilderness programs, one has to wonder WHY. On the other hand, teaching others to become self-reliant takes the pressure off the fed. gov't.
ROFL Gen, pretty cool! I haven't heard it yet. I think our bankrupt state knows what's coming and even a months worth of prep for a single family is better than nothing!
Thanks for stopping in ladies!! Isn't that something? Yes, MM, our state knows what's coming and had to get Mrs. C. to help us understand it!! Anything we have on hand is better than nothing!!
