12 Days of Prepper Christmas--Day 4

Hi everyone!! In a past year Matt from KY Preppers wrote a series of posts entitled 12 Days of Prepper Christmas. My thanks to Matt and APN for allowing me to use the title for my own series of posts. I hope that you will find something useful that will make your own Christmas more fun, frugal, and wonderful!

Today's gift idea is simple. Food! If you know someone who is a beginning prepper and you want to help them out, consider a gift of food. You can take cans from your own pantry or go to your local grocery store. Buying a few cans of veggies and fruits, baking goods, or dried foods will be a great boost to their own pantry.

You may also want to consider purchasing some freeze-dried foods from a mail-order company. If you look at the side-bar on this blog, you'll see some companies that sponsor the APN blogs. Freeze Dry Guy, Emergency Essentials, and The Ready Store are three of the companies listed there.

Stocking someone's pantry for the holidays. It's a good thing!

Prep On!

What great Christmas giving posts. Family and friends would look at me oddly if I packaged up some Del Monte vegies and fruit in a basket. (I'm chuckling as I envision this, LOL) I must say though, some freeze dried food wrapped up would be awesome on my end. :)

I inconspicuously gave assorted candles in baskets last year. Everyone likes candles for scent and ambiance and I was thinking light. Yes as you can tell, the family still thinks I'm out in left field. UGH!

Shelly, yes, the canned goods idea would only work with a few like-minded individuals. Candles, though, was a great way to give a prepper gift without anyone knowing it! I hope you're having a great Christmas season!
